Watching 200 Pounds Beauty! It is seriously cute. Although the English subtitles suck major ass so I'm half-reading half-translating in my head.

I'm at school, and I actually have nothing to do until 11, and I just finished revising an essay and correcting my math homework, so I'm out of shit to do. I mean, I'd read my Astronomy textbook, but it's at home... >>
I haven't had all my classes yet due to the weird Hurricane Fay think earlier in the week. We had school Monday, unlike the public school district, no school Tuesday, and then school yesterday. So I still need to get used to where I go on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and meet my speech teacher.

What's cool is in the beginning, I had over-scheduled myself with six classes plus a lab, when the standard is usually five classes. Then I switched to suicide math and my principle, who is an extremely nice lady, called me up and said "You're going to end up in an insane asylum." Which is true. The Government teacher is supposed to be extremely hard, the math I signed up for is a 5 credit course (as opposed to the normal 3), and I'd be taking a science, plus a lab, and a 4 credit language course at night. And English and Speech. So we put off Government till next semester. And I found out on Sunday that German ended up getting cancelled. So I now have two hard classes, a lab, and two easy classes. So I think I might be okay. But I also have a job now, and my mother wants me to take karate at least until September (when the payment runs out), but I really can't handle all three. The money is nice, and the place doesn't suck to work at, but I have it tonight and I am dreading it like crazy. At least it won't be busy and I'll mostly just be hanging out, and I'm closing, and that's my favorite shift. I should probably ask for no Thursdays, which leaves me just Fridays and the weekend. I like Fridays, ironically, because it's not super-busy at the tables, just at the bar. And there's a guy who plays music and he played The Who for me ^_^. I'm also working tomorrow, so that's good, I guess.

I'll describe my actual classroom experiences once I get back from school (and am done with homework >.<) because I should probably head to speech now.

I poured most of my vodka down the sink because I have to drive tonight. I have another meditation class.

That and I got my grandmother into the series (she loves Hugh’s blue eyes. She sits there the whole time going “Pause it, pause it! Wow, so pretty.” It’s kind of funny.) But anyway, yeah--shame on me, fool me blah blah blah.

Got a bonus at work, go me, and I'm thinking of doing  a tattoo on my right upper arm.  So I've been scouring the net for about two months now and the bonus came in on this check I get Friday.  I think I have it narrowed down to two designs, both are cats, but I'm really liking one design in particular.   To top it off, the place I got my first two tats closed down, but they've reopened in a new location and I found them quite by accident last weekend, so I'm going to have it done there when I decide.  So yeah.

I'm looking for cat tattoos, anything with a Celtic or Irish feel to it or anything that can something like that added if anyone sees anything.  :)

It's my brother's eighteenth birthday today. He's having a party here tonight.

So, here's the Obligatory First Day of School Post.

1st Period- AP Gov/Econ
The only thing that sucks is that I don't know anyone in that class. It seems interesting enough, and Tanner seems like a cool guy, so hopefully, besides the social stuff, it'll be an enjoyable class. Seriously though? Everyone and their mother took that class and I end up with nobody I know? Figures. What bothers me is that I'm surrounded by kids who take AP classes so that they can say they took AP classes, which is annoying. The girls next to me started talking about their nailpolish. I wish I was exagerating. To be honest though, no one seems mean per se, so perhaps I'll get over it. My first impressions have been wrong before.

2nd Period- Physics
Well, I know quite a few people in this class. Rigol has a very thick accent and I'm endlessly amused by the fact that when he says Fact it sounds like Fucked, but maybe I'm the only one who hears it. I'm me, after all.

3rd Period- Calc
Shaina's in this class, which I'm grateful for, as I think I would flounder around otherwise. Harding seems pretty cool so far, though I'm still a bit sad that I don't have Ditas. Oh well, maybe now I'll consider doing AP, but I'm still quite shakey on that. I'm not a math person afterall.

4th Period- Spanish 3
Yay Spanish with Adi again. This class seems like such a different environment from 1 and 2, which is probably due to the fact that most of the people in my class are freshmen. Zafra seems alright so far, she irritates me far less than Gentile did.

That's all. Lunch has everyone, which is always good. I didn't even get a glimpse of Tully today, which made me sad.

I am so proud of Shawn Johnson! It's unreal how much I wound up feeling invested in her over the course of this competition. I CRIED WHEN SHE WON. Even my husband adores her, and he has a tendency to mock everything I love out of evilness and spite (see: Jared Padalecki). But when Shawn (FINALLY) got her gold, he just yelped and flailed a bit in his seat. It was, in fact, what one might call a "squee", I guess. AMAZING.

BUT YOU GUYS. SHE IS SO TEENY AND MARVELOUS. And such a good sport! N'AWW. She's totally my favorite. She better be back in London. I wish she was older, so I could figure out a way to ship her with Michael Phelps...

WHY CAN'T SHE LIVE IN MY POCKET AND SMILE AT ME EVERY DAY. CHEEEEEEEEKS!!

Seriously, though, I want fic where Jon somehow gets talked into taking this picture after a long-ass day, where their show was kind of shitty, and Ryan was kind of a dick, and Brendon tried to hug everyone and make it better only it didn't, and don't even get him started on how Spencer took the last Red Bull. And so now he's left taking pictures with this girl who only has that cigarette because she insisted she was out, even though Jon only had two left, and she smells like stale Tommy Girl and Bacardi and ugh. Jon is not drunk enough to be doing this right now.

Does anyone know the name of a story that's out there where Ennis and Jack are employees at Disneyland? Ennis plays Dopey and Jack is Peter Pan. It's a two-part story I think.
